Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic Supply Chain Operations team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our logistics execution, ensuring that our products move seamlessly from suppliers to our global customers through our logistics network.
Your primary focus will be managing our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners, international export compliance, driving our critical quarter-end logistics push, and orchestrating our specialized “cart bundle” process. Key Responsibilities
3PL & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for our 3PL warehouse and carrier partners.
- Monitor 3PL performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including order accuracy, on-time shipping, and receiving turnaround.
- Troubleshoot and resolve daily warehouse discrepancies, inventory variances, and shipping delays.
Export Compliance & International Logistics
- Ensure all international shipments comply with local and global customs regulations, trade laws, and export controls.
- Prepare, review, and audit essential export documentation (e.g., Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Automated Export System/AES filings).
- Classify products accurately using Harmonized System (HS) codes and maintain updated compliance records.
Quarter-End Logistics Coordination
- Spearhead logistics readiness and execution during high-volume quarter-end periods to maximize revenue recognition.
- Coordinate closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and 3PLs to prioritize critical shipments and meet tight cut-off deadlines.
- Provide real-time tracking updates and risk-mitigation strategies for high-value or time-sensitive quarter-end orders.
Cart Bundle Process Coordination
- Own the end-to-end logistics for our specialized “cart bundle” program (kitting, bundling, and multi-component configurations).
- Coordinate with inventory planning to ensure all individual components are available at the 3PL for bundling.
- Define and optimize the Bill of Materials (BOM) fulfillment workflow at the warehouse level to ensure bundles are assembled and shipped accurately.
Qualifications
Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
- 5–10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or international trade.
- Compliance savvy: Strong foundational knowledge of export compliance, incoterms (e.g., CIP, EXW, DDP), and international shipping documentation.
- 3PL familiarity: Direct experience working with 3PL warehouses and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Systems & tech: Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite), Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), and logistics tracking platforms.
Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):
- Exceptional calm-under-pressure demeanor, especially during high-stakes quarter-end windows.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagle eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across internal teams (Finance, Sales, Product) and external vendors.

Location
Butterfly offers a hybrid work model for most positions, with team members spending two or more days a week in the office. While flexibility is key, we value in-person connections that spark creativity and teamwork. This is a hybrid position and will be based out of our office in New York City, NY.

Compensation
Our estimated salary for this role is $100,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
