About Cambridge Intelligence

Founded in 2011, we develop JavaScript data visualization toolkits. These toolkits help you build custom user experiences for complex data. Our products include KeyLines for graph visualization, ReGraph as a React SDK, KronoGraph for timeline visualization, and MapWeave for geospatial investigations. We also offer MCP servers that provide AI coding assistants with direct access to our SDKs.

We partner with organizations in cybersecurity, intelligence, fraud detection, and law enforcement. Our tools are used for network visualization, link analysis, cyber situational awareness, social network analysis, and military intelligence. We have offices in Cambridge, UK, and Lowell, MA, USA, and employ 51-200 people.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to build data visualization software that helps make the world safer. Our core values include unique expertise, reliability, helpful customer support, and quality in our software and support. We aim to foster community and make a positive impact through charitable donations, sustainability efforts, and team well-being.

We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring recruitment and career development are based on merit, without discrimination. An internal EDI group supports these efforts.

Team & Culture

We employ between 51 and 200 people. Our team is smart and inquisitive, focused on finding solutions to complex challenges. We strive to create a workplace where individuals feel safe, respected, and included. We believe this fosters innovation and success.

Employees describe an environment where colleagues are helpful, diligent, and open to suggestions, which promotes continuous learning. We have traditions like team activities involving food. We also host CDVC (Connected Data Visualization Community) meetings, bringing customers together to discuss the future of connected data visualization.

Benefits & Perks

We offer a range of employee benefits. These include development days (with a £1,200 budget and up to five days per year for training and conferences), flexible hours, and hybrid working options.

Employees can save on commute costs with our bike scheme or by leasing an EV through a salary sacrifice program. We provide Bupa medical and dental insurance. Flexible leave options let employees buy or sell additional holiday days. We have a bonus scheme offering up to 12% of salary, depending on company performance, and a paid month-long sabbatical after seven years of service. Retirement planning includes a contributory pension in the UK and a 401(k) in the US.
