Role profile:
The role of Accounts Payable is to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. This role is to help the organization complete and control expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. As a member of this team, you will be asked to perform this role using our North American systems applying IFRS accounting rules.
The collaboration for this role is for 2-year contract.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices and check requests
- Perform monthly reconciliations
- Maintain vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Audit and process credit card bills
- Address and respond to vendor inquiries
- Support audit process
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma. Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Bilingual (Romanian/English)
- Knowledge of French a plus
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Adaptability to working with different systems
We would appreciate:
- Proficient Google Suite knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of Basware software is a plus
- Knowledge of Excel a plus

About us
Canam Group Romania began in Brasov as a small detailing office in 1998 which afterwards became a major company on the Brasov market, with its own building and more than 400 employees. In 2024, we expanded our presence in Romania by opening a second office in Cluj-Napoca.
The Romanian offices are part of Canam Group, a global company employing 5,100 people across five countries: Canada, United States, Romania, India and the Philippines.
Our team in Brasov provides 3D modelling, detailing and estimation services for constructions such as buildings, steel structures and bridges. We work for our plants and offices in Canada and the Unites States and for other North American steel fabricators.
