Complete 3D models of construction elements as per the Structural and Architectural plans and design shop drawings/details and erection layouts using 3D and 2D software while ensuring project criteria is met and consistent with client requirements, corporate mission and values.
Essential Functions:
- Gathers, examines and interprets information from project documents;
- Completes 3D models of building elements as per contract drawings;
- Connects structural elements as per contract drawings and engineering specifications;
- Reports discrepancies and missing information on the contract documents;
- Detects possible interferences between structural and architectural building parts;
- Completes 2D shop drawings of construction elements generated from 3D models;
- Completes 2D erection layouts generated from 3D models;
- Generates material lists as required;
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor;
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating effectively with co-workers, supervisors and customers
Qualifications
- Technical faculty graduate;
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical procedures, specifications, governmental regulations, drawings and job specifications;
- Computer skills;
- CAD software knowledge;
- Proficiency in English. French language would be a plus;
- Good learning and communication skills;
- Other competencies: listening, collaboration, consulting others, stress management, continuous development, energy, autonomy, focus on results, respecting commitments.

About us
Canam Group Romania began in Brasov as a small detailing office in 1998 which afterwards became a major company on the Brasov market, with its own building and more than 400 employees. In 2024, we expanded our presence in Romania by opening a second office in Cluj-Napoca.
The Romanian offices are part of Canam Group, a global company employing 5,100 people across five countries: Canada, United States, Romania, India and the Philippines.
Our team in Brasov provides 3D modelling, detailing and estimation services for constructions such as buildings, steel structures and bridges. We work for our plants and offices in Canada and the Unites States and for other North American steel fabricators.
