Management Consultant – Cards & Payments
Location: London (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Banking & Payments | Type: Permanent
Deliver large-scale cards and payments transformation for global financial institutions
The Role
Capco is seeking a Management Consultant to join our Banking & Payments practice, supporting a large-scale, multi-year commercial cards and payments platform deployment for a global bank.
This role will focus on complex global rollouts, migrations, and platform implementations, spanning commercial cards and merchant acquiring (payment acceptance). You’ll work across regions, engaging senior stakeholders, technology vendors, and delivery teams to shape roadmaps, define requirements, and support successful end-to-end delivery.
The role is well suited to individuals with experience operating in Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid consulting roles, who are comfortable navigating complex programmes and driving structured delivery in global environments.
What You’ll Do
Support large-scale cards and payments platform deployments, global rollouts, and migrations
Define and manage delivery roadmaps, milestones, and dependencies across multi-year programmes
Engage stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor teams globally
Define business and functional requirements, mapping end-to-end processes and integration points
Contribute to programme governance, delivery planning, and structured change management
What We’re Looking For
Experience delivering change within commercial cards, corporate cards, or merchant acquiring environments
Background operating in consulting, business analysis, project management, or hybrid BA/PM roles
Experience working on complex, global transformation programmes within financial services
Ability to collaborate with technology vendors and internal engineering teams
Structured thinking, clear communication, and stakeholder management skills
Bonus Points For
Experience supporting global card platform implementations or migrations
Exposure to payment acceptance, acquiring platforms, or issuing ecosystems
Involvement in process mapping, integration design, or target state definition
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
Confidence supporting senior stakeholder forums and programme governance
