Capvision is expanding into Europe, and we’re building our first hub in Athens, Greece. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial HR leader who can move fast, hire fast, and build systems that scale. This is a 0 → 1 role: you’ll be the first HR presence on the ground, shaping culture, building the team, and driving growth from day one.
This isn’t a bureaucratic HR job — it’s about execution, talent, and speed. If you thrive in ambiguity, love building from scratch, and can scale an office from a handful of people to 50+ in short order, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do:
- Recruit at Speed: Lead end-to-end talent acquisition across all levels and functions; create a pipeline of top talent in Greece and beyond.
- Scale Quickly: Grow the office initially from 0 → 25+ employees in Year 1, building the foundations for continued expansion across Europe.
- Build the Athens Office: Partner with leadership to establish our first European hub — from the very first hires to a fully functioning office.
- Design & Execute People Ops: Stand up the essential HR infrastructure (contracts, payroll, benefits, compliance, onboarding) while keeping it lean and agile.
- Shape Culture: Instill Capvision’s values locally while creating a culture that attracts, motivates, and retains top performers.
- Partner Globally: Work closely with HQ and other offices to align strategy, share best practices, and ensure smooth cross-border operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Talent Builder: 8-15 years in HR or Talent, with heavy focus on talent acquisition and scaling teams fast.
- Startup/Scale-Up Experience: You’ve built or helped scale an office/team from scratch in a high-growth environment.
- Doer + Builder: Comfortable setting up systems while rolling up your sleeves to execute.
- Local + Global Knowledge: Strong understanding of Greek labor law and European HR norms (GDPR, compliance, mobility).
- Agile Leader: Thrives in ambiguity, makes quick decisions, and adapts as the business grows.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Greek; Other languages preferred but not required.
