Your Mission
Drive the growth and quality of manga and anime auctions by applying deep category expertise and commercial insight. You will ensure that auctions are compelling, relevant to collectors, and deliver strong results for both sellers and buyers.
Contribute to building this strategic category by curating high-quality items and creating engaging auction experiences that strengthen market presence and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Source high-quality manga, anime collectibles, animation art, and Japanese comic artwork to build strong auction pipelines
- Curate auctions that appeal to collectors and maximise engagement and commercial performance
- Manage the end-to-end auction process to ensure a seamless experience for sellers and buyers
- Apply market knowledge to select items that align with demand and category trends
- Optimise auction quality by maintaining high standards for listings and presentation
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve auction outcomes and category growth
What You’ll Bring
- Strong expertise in Japanese manga, anime, and related collectibles
- Solid understanding of the collector market and pricing dynamics
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify value and drive auction performance
- Experience in sourcing or curating collectible items or similar categories
- Attention to detail in evaluating quality, authenticity, and presentation
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple auctions and timelines effectively
- Effective communication skills for working with sellers and internal teams

Our Offices and Way of Working
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
