We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance Team. This team tackles all financial aspects of our company: making sure finances are accurate, managing the company’s financial plan, and keeping the company financially healthy ⭐
What will you do as an Accounting Specialist?
You’ll play a key role in managing the financial administration for several entities across our global organisation. This includes processing and verifying purchase invoices with a high level of accuracy, tracking unpaid invoices, and managing and reconciling bank transactions ✔️ You’ll also maintain financial records and assist in preparing financial reports, as well as liaise with external auditors.
💙 Collaboration is an important part of this role. You’ll support the month-end and year-end closing process by working closely with your team, and you’ll contribute to internal projects focused on improving workflows, such as automation, AI initiatives, and integrating the financial systems of newly acquired companies 📈
Requirements
What makes you the ideal Accounting Specialist?
HBO / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field,
Prior working experience in a similar financial role,
You’re IT savvy - keen on automating workflows and experimenting with AI,
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel,
A proactive and detail-oriented attitude, with a structured approach to work,
Proficient communication skills in English and Dutch,
Living within commuting distance of Leiden.
