JOB PURPOSE :
This 3-month contract Financial Planning and Analysis Executive role supports informed decision-making through strategic financial insights, accurate forecasting, and rigorous analysis. Positioned at the core of financial operations, this role plays a key part in safeguarding the organization’s financial health by driving effective planning, monitoring performance, and clearly communicating financial outcomes to stakeholders.
PS : Opportunity to extend or convert to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
KPIs :
- Variance analysis and ability to identify key drivers of financial performance.
- Accuracy and timeliness of Management Reports, Profitability Reports and other related analyses.
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Timeliness and accuracy of invoice review and approval.
- Contribution to cost-saving initiatives and improvement in financial processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Reviewing of monthly financial results to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Analysis of performance to understand drivers (vs plan, vs forecast, vs prior month, vs prior year) and recommend courses of action.
- Review and approval of client invoices.
- Quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting.
- Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.
- Analyzing and providing recommendations on costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Updating company scorecards, analyzing them to identify and explore opportunities or address risks.
- Creating relevant reports and presentations to the senior management team
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate finance or FP&A role.
- Solid understanding of P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, general finance and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and able to translate numbers into insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with a 3-month contract and available to start immediately.
