Founded in 1975, we are a not-for-profit organization that provides a college application platform. Our platform helps students apply to over 1,000 colleges and universities in the United States and internationally, simplifying the process for first-year and transfer applicants.

We offer resources to help students find financial aid and scholarships, along with advice from counselors, advisors, and mentors. We also support counselors and recommenders throughout the application process.

We gather and share data through reports and updates, and host events and webinars for education professionals. We work with government officials and other groups to make higher education more accessible, partnering with community organizations, state agencies, and school districts.

We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making the college admission process fair and accessible. Our mission is to promote access, equity, and integrity in higher education.

Common App has 51-200 employees and works as a virtual-first organization. We value healthy work-life balance for all staff. It’s a fast-paced, diverse, and inclusive workplace that encourages collaboration. Employees attend two annual retreats.

• A 403(b) retirement plan with a 5% company contribution and an additional 5% company match. It has a 3-year vesting schedule and immediate participation.
