Location – Pune / Mumbai (Hybrid)
General Summary:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for transforming complex business data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision‑making. This role requires strong analytical capability, expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, and DBT, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of operational metrics, business logic documentation, and end-to-end dashboard development..
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Dashboard Development & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards for internal business stakeholders.
- Translate raw data into clear, actionable business insights through visualization and analytics.
- Ensure reports are accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with business needs and governance standards.
Stakeholder Management & Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, validate, and clarify reporting requirements.
- Document business logic, data models, operational KPIs, and technical logic in a structured and comprehensive format.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage expectations proactively.
Data Engineering & Technical Skills
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize data models using Snowflake.
- Work with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation, modeling, and pipeline development.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across all reports and data layers.
Operational Metrics & Analysis
- Analyze and track key operational metrics to support performance visibility and business operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance process efficiencies and business outcomes.
Work Management & Execution Excellence
- Deliver high-quality output while working under pressure and managing demanding timelines.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional time management and prioritization.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring ownership and accountability for all assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong experience in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard development.
- Proficiency in Snowflake and writing complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with DBT for modeling and transformations.
- Solid understanding of operational metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and adapt to dynamic business environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

- Proactive, self‑driven, and capable of taking full ownership of projects.
