Job Description

We are looking for you, an IT Solution & Integration Architect Purchasing, Finance, Integrity & Law (m/f/diverse), to join our Information Technology team in the area of Business Applications for Purchasing, Finance and Integrity & Law. Hybrid Work is possible.

The main objective of this position is to design and implement IT solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring seamless integration across systems. Align technology architecture with organizational goals, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design, Development & Planning: You design end-to-end IT solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective. Define architecture blueprints, patterns, and reference models.
  • Requirements Analysis: You collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural components.
  • Technology Evaluation & Selection: You assess and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools. Ensure compatibility with existing systems and future scalability.
  • Security & Compliance: You enforce architectural standards, policies, and best practices. Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards). Integrate security principles into architecture (e.g., identity, access control, data protection). Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the design phase.
  • Integration & Interoperability: You identify interfaces of integration points and data flows between systems, applications, and services. Ensure seamless integration across heterogeneous environments (on-prem, cloud, hybrid). Assess and recommend suitable middleware tools.
  • Documentation & Communication: You produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and decision records. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project Support & Delivery: You support development and operations teams during implementation. Validate architecture through proof-of-concepts, pilots, and close collaboration with Enterprise Architect and Domain Architects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar architecture role (cloud architecture, solution architecture or enterprise architecture).
  • Strong understanding of middleware technologies and IT architectures.
  • TOGAF certification
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience in interface design, mapping data flows and architecture documentation
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Capable of working in a multicultural, distributed team environment
  • Several years of experience in business processes in the area of Purchasing, Finance and/or Integrity & Law

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Several years of professional experience in IT service management or a project environment;
  • Knowledge in agile project methodologies
  • Deep knowledge in requirements gathering and analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
