POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious builder to join our team in the role of Senior Applied AI Engineer. In this role, you will be a primary contributor to our suite of AI capabilities within the Cordial platform. You will work to pull in frontier AI work to help our customers be more efficient and leveraged within the platform.
YOU WILL
- Be a primary contributor to our AI strategy, helping design and productize AI-powered solutions
- You’ll dive into massive datasets with the autonomy to choose what you work on and the ownership to turn ideas into real-world results for our clients.
- Serve as an expert sounding board on approaches and techniques for integrating LLMs into production applications
- Work in partnership with product management to drive compelling AI solutions and features
- Continuously explore and implement innovative approaches using frontier AI models to solve complex business challenges
ABOUT YOU
- 2+ years of professional experience building production applications with LLMs and AI technologies
- 6-8+ years experience with Python
- Track record of shipping and maintaining production services at scale
- A deep curiosity and excitement for where AI and applied AI systems are headed
- Experience building with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc), prompt engineering, and RAG architectures in a professional setting
- Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, llamaindex) in a professional setting
- Experience with REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations in a professional setting
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and defining solutions to open-ended problems
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$180,000.00 - $200,000.00 base salary annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. In combination with the base salary, Cordial’s compensation package includes equity and bonus, a robust benefit plan (medical/dental/vision/life), 401k match, and flexible time off. Additionally, we offer perks such as childcare and continued education yearly reimbursements.
