About the Role

Lead the way in European market access. Join us as a Consultant to manage multiple Value & Access projects, spearhead client relationships, and contribute to pipeline growth, through leveraging your German HTA and JCA expertise.

We are expanding our Value & Access team, with an increasing European focus (including JCA and EU4). We are seeking an experienced Consultant to deliver strategic, high-quality work for clients, independently managing multiple Value & Access projects end-to-end—from scoping to execution—and leading client communications.

A key focus of this role is leveraging your deep expertise in the German HTA and broader market access landscape to guide JCA, Scientific Advice, global value dossiers, and market access strategy for Germany and EU4.

Projects span multiple disease areas; the ability to rapidly assimilate new therapeutic areas and manage multiple projects is essential. You will recruit, train and mentor Analysts, nurture long-term client relationships, and manage your pipeline of work. Leading proposals to drive growth for the Value & Access team’s global and European markets. You will enhance the team’s capabilities and shape future projects by staying ahead of JCA trends.

You will sit as part of the Management Team in Value & Access, with the opportunity to shape and drive team strategy and take part in service area-specific and company-wide Management Team-level training and discussions.

We are one of the largest independently-owned agencies, renowned for robust, scientifically rigorous work and innovative approaches, with a diverse client base.

Our standard working week is 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, however we can also consider applicants looking for part-time hours of 30 hours per week.

‒  At a minimum, experience should be sufficient to provide strategic and technical advice to clients on German HTA requirements and evidence needs.

  • Flexibility to respond to changing deadlines
  • The ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others, leading and motivating them to deliver high-quality outcomes

Hybrid Working Policy: We believe that having face-to-face time in the office holds many benefits and is central to ensuring that the community we have created, where people have a workplace they belong to and feel part of, is never lost. At the same time, we recognise that homeworking can improve work life balance, reduce commuting times and costs, and provide the opportunity to juggle personal commitments.

Therefore, we offer flexible working arrangements that allow our colleagues who have passed probation to work from home up to half their time, measured across a 2-week rolling period. During your probationary period (normally the first 6 months of the role), you will be able to work from home 1 day per week.

In your cover letter, you must explain why you think you would be suited to the role and why you would like to join Costello Medical, with examples to support both. Then, our recruitment process includes a telephone interview, an assessment and a final on-site interview. Please note that the successful candidate may be required to undergo security/background checks, and any employment offer will be conditional on the results of these. Our standard recruitment process lasts around 1 month, however, this can be adapted if necessary.
