The Impact of a Business Strategy Analyst/Program Manager at Coupa:

Join Coupa as a Business Strategy Analyst/Program Manager within our Value & Solutions Advisory team, supporting the VSA Operations and Strategy Team.  You will support internal projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and opportunities, while also leading initiatives that position Coupa as an industry thought leader. Your strong project management skills will enable you to create detailed project plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate strategic recommendations effectively to executive leadership. You will thrive in a global environment, adapt strategies to meet local needs, and leverage your analytical expertise to develop and maintain proprietary models and tools. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Support internal consulting projects: collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and strategic opportunities within the organization to enable business transformation
• Contribute to Thought Leadership: participate in or lead initiatives that position Coupa as a thought leader in the industry, such as publishing white papers, participating in industry events, or contributing to blogs and webinars
• Demonstrate strong project management skills: lead initiatives as an internal consultant by creating and managing detailed project plans, managing stakeholder expectations, and addressing feedback and issues in real-time
• Experience in a Global Environment: ability to work with global teams and understand the nuances of operating in different markets, adapting strategies to meet local needs while maintaining consistency with global objectives
• Create impactful presentations to effectively communicate strategic insights: develop clear, concise, and compelling presentations to communicate findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
• Develop and maintain analytical models and tools: leverage analytical expertise and critical thinking skills to manage proprietary models and tools, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivate and own projects: demonstrate a proactive approach by self-motivating, taking initiative, and leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful outcomes with minimal supervision and a desire to grow
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for process optimization within the Value Solution Advisory Organization and contribute to the implementation of best practices
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices: stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analysis and reporting
• Work model expectations: maintain a hybrid work model with a minimum of 3-days in office (Bogota, Colombia) and 2-days remote each week (Flexible)

What You Will Bring to Coupa

• Language: fluent in verbal and written English language
• Work experience: 5+ years of business experience demonstrating proficiency in strategy and operations consulting, corporate or business unit strategy, or other relevant work experience
• A.I. Skills: A proven understanding of AI products and execution of said products in a business environment.
• Proven verbal skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to convey complex strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership
• Strong critical thinking skills: utilize critical thinking skills to assess operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategic recommendations that enhance business performance and drive operational excellence
• Project management experience: proficient in project management skills and related tools, overseeing timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Strong presentation development skills: ability to synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods, prepared in a digestible, presentable format
• Workload prioritization & management skills: willingness to work in a high performing environment and ability to manage and prioritize workload to achieve required timelines
• Meticulous attention to detail: demonstrated attention to detail to thoroughly analyze data, review deliverables, and ensure accuracy in all aspects of strategic and operational recommendations
• Adaptability and Resilience: proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Collaboration and Cross-Functional Skills: ability to work effectively across teams and departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Microsoft suite experience: advanced user of Google Suite and/or Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
• Data visualization experience: experience working with Tableau or Power BI visualization tools (or certified)
• Flexibility in work style: experience working independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
