By joining our rapidly growing Financial Due Diligence practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that solve today’s challenges and set the foundation for future success. With support from experienced leaders and a dedicated coach, you will join a collaborative community that invites you to contribute beyond the scope of client delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex M&A transactions, providing clients with critical insights into financial performance and risks. Projects involve large, complex transactions, high volume roll-ups, carve-outs, divestitures and sell-side transactions. You will work with private equity firms, corporate acquirers and lenders, delivering high-quality analyses that drive informed decision-making.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including Quality of Earnings, as well as analysis of working capital, cash flows, and key financial metrics
- Review and interpret financial statements under GAAP and other relevant standards
- Develop and present client deliverables, including detailed Excel analysis and PowerPoint presentations summarizing findings
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
- Collaborate with internal teams and client executives, including CFOs and Controllers, to gather data and communicate insights effectively
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and analytics tools (Power BI, Alteryx) to synthesize data and identify trends
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and leverage AI-enabled tools in accordance with firm-wide policies
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment
What You’ll Bring:
- 2–6 years of professional experience in audit and/or financial due diligence, preferably within Big 4 or similar firms
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and Alteryx is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- CPA highly preferred (inactive status acceptable); CFA and other advanced degrees well regarded
For applicants located in San Francisco, CA, CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $95,000 - $150,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
