Job Description
The Quant Trading team is responsible for executing trades and managing risks associated with derivative products, such as options, futures, and swaps. The team develops and implement trading strategies to support the quantitative trading team in making informed decisions in fast-paced and complex trading environments.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Derivatives Trader to join our trading desk. This role is responsible for identifying and executing trading opportunities across perpetual futures, options, and broader derivatives markets. You will manage portfolio risk, optimize execution, and contribute to the development of analytical tools — all within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Identify and monetize trading opportunities across perpetual futures, options, and derivatives markets.
• Develop and execute strategies with a focus on capital efficiency and risk-adjusted returns.
• Monitor and manage portfolio performance, Greeks exposure (delta, gamma, vega, theta), and key risk metrics on a real-time basis.
• Contribute to the development of post-trade analytical tools and dashboards to enhance decision-making.
• Diagnose and resolve trading infrastructure issues in real time.
• Investigate strategy performance anomalies and execution problems, implementing corrective measures as needed.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5–10 years of profitable trading experience on a leading trading desk within a bank, proprietary trading firm, or market-making environment, across any asset class.
• Demonstrable experience in building, managing, and scaling derivative trading strategies.
• Strong understanding of derivatives pricing, hedging techniques, and risk management frameworks.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply them under time-sensitive conditions.
• Proficiency in Python; strong command of Microsoft Excel. Experience with additional languages (e.g., C++, R, KDB+/Q) is a plus.
• Strong interest in and knowledge of both cryptocurrency and traditional asset classes.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with significant responsibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively across trading, risk, and technology teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience trading crypto derivatives (perpetuals, options, structured products) would be a plus.
• Experience with real-time risk systems and automated execution infrastructure.
