About the Opportunity
Cyclomedia is a market leader in mobile mapping data, imagery and AI, trusted by governments and infrastructure organisations across Europe. Belgium is now becoming a key growth market. That’s why we’re looking for a senior Key Account Executive to lead this change, someone with the seniority, network and sales instincts to open doors at the highest levels of Belgian government and public safety.
This is a role to build something new, not to take over existing accounts. You’ll work alongside senior leadership from day one, with direct access to the Sales Director, final say on deals, and real freedom in how you build your territory.
What You’ll Do
Own and grow a strategic new-business pipeline across Belgian central and regional government, leading with cold outreach and executive-level relationship building
Build and leverage a senior network into the Belgian government market, and take the lead in establishing Cyclomedia’s presence in the public-safety vertical
Shape go-to-market strategy as part of an integrated Benelux (BeNe) leadership team, with direct input into the standardised content-sales and upsell model.
Run a complex, consultative sales cycle on large enterprise deals, typically €100k and above, from first conversation through to signature.
Operate with genuine autonomy across Belgium
Requirements
Must-Haves
Proven senior hunter, a track record of opening and closing large, complex deals; genuine acquisition mindset
Deep government sales-cycle expertise
An established, senior-level network in the Belgian government market
Fluent in French and Dutch, the customer base is roughly 50⁄50, and English alone doesn’t cover the French-speaking central government near Brussels.
Fluency in technology markets, AI, data and information; geospatial specifically is not required, but strategic commercial thinking is.
Nice-to-Haves
A background in Central Government tasks including public safety, defence and/or (geo)-information, a segment that represents roughly half of the market potential.
Experience in asset management or infrastructure, ideally at enterprise-account level.
Familiarity with geospatial/GIS concepts (imagery, surveying)
Prior experience operating across the Benelux region.
Life at Cyclomedia
You’ll operate with real seniority: a close-knit Belgian team of around six colleagues, embedded
within a larger Benelux sales organisation of roughly twenty, and with direct lines to the Sales
Director and other final-stage stakeholders. The role offers genuine autonomy, to build your territory
independently across Belgium. Our office near Zaventem (Brussels airport) is central and easy to
reach.
