We have an exciting opportunity to work for a global banking and financial services corporation within their Investment Banking division as part of our Post Trade Services Team. You will be working as part of a fast-paced middle office team, communicating with multiple teams internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide senior oversight of trade capture, lifecycle events, and control processes supporting complex rates and exotics products (e.g., callable structures, CMS products, swaptions, range accruals, barriers).
Serve as the primary escalation point for high‑value or high‑risk operational issues, ensuring rapid resolution and stakeholder alignment.
Ensure operational readiness for new structures, market changes, curve/vol adjustments, and booking model updates.
Oversee preparation, negotiation, and execution of OTC confirmations under ISDA frameworks for complex structures.
Partner with Legal and counterparties to resolve documentation discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulatory confirmation timelines.
Drive improvements in documentation quality, template standardization, and reduction of aged confirms.
Strengthen end‑to‑end controls across trade booking, lifecycle events, settlement readiness, and valuation dependencies.
Lead governance around operational risk, including review of breaks, reconciliations, incident management, and audit responses.
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including US reporting standards and confirmation timelines.
Requirements
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Rates/Exotics Operations, Confirmations, Middle Office, or similar front‑to‑back markets role.
Strong understanding of structured rates and options products, including callable and CMS structures, swaptions, range accruals, barriers, and multi‑currency features.
Deep familiarity with ISDA documentation, 2006⁄2021 Definitions, and long‑form confirmation workflows.
Proven ability to operate at a senior level, managing escalations and influencing across Trading, Legal, Risk, and Technology.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a control‑first mindset.
Experience with major trade capture and risk systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso, Summit) preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity.
Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:
As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands.
Salary Range:
Associate: $80,000-$95,000(dependent on experience)
AVP: $95,000-$135,000(dependent on experience)
