We are the joint communication platform for Danish missions in the United States, including the Embassy of Denmark, various Consulate Generals, the Trade Council North America, and Invest in Denmark. We advance Denmark’s interests and promote cooperation between Denmark and the USA. We integrate government efforts to boost Danish exports and attract foreign investment to Denmark, combining trade and innovation to connect people, share knowledge, and create jobs in the United States.

Headed by the Ambassador to the United States, the Trade Council North America provides strategic partnerships and helps create favorable conditions for Danish companies and their partners expanding into North America. We provide tailored advice to over 600 companies annually.

Our senior advisors and sector experts assist businesses with starting, developing, or expanding in areas like energy, life sciences, defense, IT, furniture, fashion, food, agriculture, and urban solutions. We also advise on public affairs, partner identification, market entry strategies, market intelligence, business opportunity monitoring, and export promotion.

Our missions include the Embassy of Denmark in Washington D.C., Consulate Generals in New York, Silicon Valley (Palo Alto), Chicago, and Houston. We also have Innovation Centres in Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) and Boston.
