The challenges You’ll tackle?
As an Expert Cloud Backend Engineer for T Cloud Public – Security Services, you will:
• Proactively perform penetration tests and support the prevention, detection, and mitigation of cyberattacks
• Drive automation initiatives related to security testing and assessment workflows
• Analyze data‑ and cyber‑security risks and contribute to effective mitigation strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor on information security and IT security best practices
• Collaborate within a team of specialists who work transparently, support each other, and maintain a high level of trust
Your profile:
• Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific field — or equivalent professional training
• 3–5 years of professional IT experience, ideally with exposure to cloud security and/or penetration testing
• Relevant IT security certifications (e.g., OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSP, CISSP) are a strong advantage
• Hands‑on experience with penetration testing, security assessments, and preventing or analyzing attacks
• Familiarity with common scanning, assessment, and automation tools used in security operations
• Solid understanding of software‑defined networking, routing, firewalls, and physical network fundamentals
• Strong Linux skills and good knowledge of network‑related services
• Experience with infrastructure automation is beneficial
• High level of customer focus and a proactive, service‑oriented mindset
• Knowledge of agile development practices
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Willingness to work within the European Union to meet customer data‑security and privacy requirements

Qualifications
Internal Briefing – Key Skills & Qualifications
Soft Skills:
- Customer orientation, communication, problem-solving, ownership mindset.
- Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches.
- Familiarity with agile development processes and tools (GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, DevOps, CI/CD).
Technical Skills:
- Strong Linux expertise (networking, logging, system tools like sudo/SSH, LDAP/NTP) and command line proficiency.
- System technologies: Linux, Xen/KVM, storage, networking, OpenStack, Docker/LXC/LXD.
- Infrastructure automation: Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX, or similar frameworks (Chef, Puppet, Salt).
- Cloud/container technologies: OpenStack Neutron, Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS frameworks (CloudFoundry/OpenShift).
- Secure scale-out cloud application knowledge and related tooling.
- Programming knowledge is a plus (Python, Go).
- Experience with OpenSource projects and communities.
Education/Experience:
- Completed studies in technical, engineering, or scientific disciplines, or equivalent professional training.
- Experience in deploying new features and solving problems to increase customer satisfaction .
