Job Description

Purpose

• Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s
• Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes
• Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s.
• Propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations .
• Diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to IT infrastructure.
• Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions  to improve or correct the situation.
• Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority.
• Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance. Any deviations between the two should be understood and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support IT service.
• Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
• Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business.
• Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans.
• Deliver effective training plans and concepts to train other employees and ensure their fulfillment .

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have Information technologies - Secondary education
• have at least one advanced certificate for relevant platform - CCNA certification (mandatory), CCNP or CCDA certification (preferred)
• have core platform knowledge - Expert
• have related platform knowledge - Intermediate
• are communicative, team player and have analytical thinking, training/mentoring skills, presentation skills and negotiation skills
• have financial literacy in respective business area
• have knowledge of project management and ITIL processes
• speak English - Upper intermediate (B2)
• speak German advantage - Upper intermediate (B2)
• have knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 networking principles
• have experience in preparing Low Level / High Level Network Designs (VLANs, Networks, VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IPs)
• are proficient in MS Visio – able to deliver clear, structured network diagrams
• have experience with IP documentation and management tools (e.g., IPAM systems)
• hold knowledge of ITSM processes (e.g., Incident, Change, Problem management)
• are able to provide consulting and guidance to team colleagues on complex network design topics
• have knowledge of enterprise infrastructure environments (Data Centers, Hybrid Cloud Networking)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1300€ /brutto.
