JobSummary:
AsahybridQAEngineer,youwillbeakeycontributortooursoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle, ensuringthedeliveryofhigh-qualityproducts.Youwillberesponsibleforbothmanualand automatedtesting,workingcloselywithproductmanagersanddeveloperstodefineand executeteststrategies.Yourdeepunderstandingofsoftwaredevelopmentlifecyclesanda keeneyefordetailwillbeessentialinidentifying,documenting,and trackingbugs.Thisrole requiresaproactiveindividualwhocanworkindependentlyandcollaborativelytomaintainand improveourhighstandardsofquality.
Key Responsibilities:
TestPlanning&Execution:
- Develop,maintain,andexecutedetailed,comprehensive,andwell-structuredtest plansandtestcasesfornewfeaturesandexistingfunctionalities.
- Performvarioustypesoftesting,includingfunctional,regression,integration, usability,andUAT(UserAcceptanceTesting)
- Perform exploratory,functional,regression,integration,andusabilitytesting acrossweb,mobile,and/ordesktopapplications.
Bug Management & Reporting:
- Identify,document,andtrackbugsusingbug-trackingsystems.
- Collaboratewiththedevelopmentteamtoprioritizeandresolvedefectsina timelymanner.
- Provide clear,concise,anddetailedbugreports,includingstepstoreproduce, expectedvs.actualresults,andrelevantlogs.
Process Improvement:
- Provide input on testability, design, and product features during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design meetings, and sprint retrospectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, methodologies, and tools.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as a key liaison between the development, product, and business teams to ensure a shared understanding of quality goals.
- Clearly communicate the status of testing, risks, and challenges to Team head & stakeholders
- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices.
RequiredQualifications:
Experience:
- 3-5+yearsofhands-onexperienceasaManualQAEngineerinaprofessional softwaredevelopmentenvironment.
- Provenexperienceincreatingandexecutingdetailedtestplans,testcases,and testscripts.
Technical Proficiency:
- StrongknowledgeofsoftwareQAmethodologies,tools,andprocesses.
- Experiencewithbug-trackingsystems(e.g.,Xray,Jira,AzureDevOps,or similar).
- Familiaritywithtestcasemanagementtools(e.g.,Qase,TestRail,Zephyr,or similar).
- Proficiencyintestingweband/ormobileapplications(iOSandAndroid).
- ExperiencewithAPItestingusingtoolslikePostmanorsimilarisaplus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellentanalyticalandproblem-solvingskillswithahighattentiontodetail.
- Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
- Abilitytoworkindependently,managemultipletasks,andmeetdeadlinesina fast-pacedenvironment.
- Aproactiveandcollaborativeattitudewithapassionforquality.
PreferredQualifications :(Bonus Points)
- Experience withAPItestingusingtoolslikePostmanorInsomnia.
- Familiarity withdatabasetestingusingSQLqueries.
- Understanding ofagile/scrummethodologies.
- Experience withperformanceorsecuritytesting
- Basic understandingofautomationtestingconceptsandframeworks(e.g.,Playwright,Selenium, Cypress).
