We are a family-owned company, founded in 1930 by Oliver W. Steele. For over 95 years, the 3rd and 4th generations of the Steele family have run the business, with a 5th generation Marketing Manager also involved. We design and manufacture equipment for processing flowing solids, including separation, precision sorting, and drying/cooling. All our machines are designed, built, and manufactured at our facility in La Junta, Colorado.

Our product line includes gravity separators, destoners, precision sizers, and dryer/cooling machines. Our machines use technologies like remote monitoring and automation. We serve industries such as agriculture (seed & grain, tree seed), food, reclamation/recycling, nut, coffee, lumber, and mining. Our equipment processes materials like grains, corn, oilseeds, and cotton seeds to remove impurities. We also offer recycling separation equipment that turns waste into valuable materials.

Beyond equipment sales, we offer services like seed processing solutions, seed treatment, operator training, remote support, maintenance training, machine refurbishing, machine upgrades, and online training. We also have a seed separation lab for material testing and analysis to help customers get the best results. We serve customers worldwide, focusing on North and South America.
