Job Description
What we’re looking for
doola is seeking a strategic and metrics-driven Social Media Manager to join our content team and help scale our brand awareness. The role is crucial for building a cohesive social strategy that ties to revenue impact - both as a direct acquisition channel and as an indirect contributor to pipeline, brand search demand, and customer trust.
If you treat social like performance marketing - where every channel has a number, every post has a job, and you can consistently show what social contributed to signups and revenue, this role is for you.
What you will do
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tied to doola’s revenue targets, with channel-level KPIs that ladder up to signups, pipeline, and assisted conversions for both Formation and Bookkeeping product lines.
Collaborate and align with our Content, Video and Influencer teams to create content that performs organically and to identify top-performing posts to amplify with paid spend.
Manage a social media manager and together tackle both brand and founder-led content for our CEO on X, LI and Instagram helping write, repurpose, and distribute content without consuming significant executive time.
Foster active community engagement and respond to user inquiries, ensuring interactive communication and timely responses to queries and comments on all platforms, including DMs and inbound conversations that often turn into qualified sales opportunities.
Utilize content creation tools to craft compelling and visually appealing content for various social media channels.
Stay abreast of the latest social media trends and overall industry trends and incorporate relevant practices to keep doola’s social media strategies ahead of the curve and brand voice in relevant trending business conversations.
Measure, analyze, and report on social media performance, with a clear attribution framework that connects social activity to business outcomes - not just follower growth or engagement.
Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts and small team with a proven track record of connecting social media activity to revenue, pipeline, or signups.
Proficient in using major social media platforms such as X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, and familiar with social media planning tools (Buffer, Sprout, Sprinklr, etc) and analytics platforms (GA4, native platform analytics, attribution tools).
Capable of directing or producing high-quality visual content using tools such as Canva or Photoshop
Knowledgeable about business and entrepreneurship with the ability to engage a target audience that includes US-based small business owners and international founders forming US entities, and understanding how to create content that caters to these various main audiences and sub-audiences.
A self-starter who is motivated and opinionated about which platforms matter, willing to kill what isn’t working, and able to communicate doola’s mission and drive engagement through innovative social media strategies. We want you to move fast, learn quickly and iterate for best results.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with the ability to operate within the PST timezone for meetings.
