Founded in Santa Clara, CA, in 2015, we developed The Agentic Lakehouse, a data platform designed for and managed by AI agents. This platform gives AI agents federated data access and processes unstructured data, with an AI Semantic Layer that provides business context. It automatically optimizes queries, reorganizes data, and maintains high performance, reducing the need for manual tuning.

We co-created Apache Polaris and Apache Arrow, and our platform is built on Apache Iceberg, Polaris, and Arrow. Shell, TD Bank, and Michelin are among the companies that use our platform. Our platform includes an AI semantic layer, a smart query engine, and an open catalog. It supports uses such as Agentic Analytics, data unification, and lakehouse modernization. We also support Data Analytics, Big Data, Self-Service Data, SQL, NoSQL, BI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and various cloud and open-source technologies.

Our Catalog is compatible with tools that support the Iceberg REST Catalog specification. We query data directly where it resides, automatically optimizing existing SQL queries. We integrate with BI platforms like Power BI and Tableau, and also support Python.

Our mission is to reinvent SQL for data lakes and support our customers in their cloud journey, driving the future of data analytics.
