Dune

We founded Dune in 2018 to make blockchain data accessible. We organize, decode, and present this data in a human-readable format.

We build the infrastructure for a multi-chain analytics platform and develop data pipelines that transform raw on-chain activity into curated datasets. These datasets power dashboards, products, and research. Our platform processes petabytes of public blockchain data, offering tools like our Analytics product and Sim developer products (API and IDX) for real-time on-chain data.

We are a distributed, remote-first team with flexible working hours. We aim for a healthy balance of asynchronous and synchronous work to reduce meeting overload and let team members structure their own days.

Engineering roles involve hands-on work, focusing on automation, tooling, and developer experience. Our team members participate in on-call rotations and embed security and compliance into their daily practices. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and other engineers. We also encourage continuous learning and skill development, with a focus on teamwork and communication.

We offer a competitive salary and equity package, including an employee equity scheme with a heavily discounted strike price (approximately 90%) and a 10-year exercise window.

We provide 5 weeks of paid time off (PTO) plus local public holidays, which can be swapped to suit individual needs. We operate fully remote with flexible working hours. Our health benefits cover private medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Parental leave includes 16 weeks for primary caregivers and 6 weeks for secondary caregivers, plus a 2-week part-time phased return at full pay.

We organize quarterly offsites in different locations, such as Tuscany, Berlin, Austria, and Athens. A yearly travel allowance helps employees co-work with teammates. We also offer an allowance for at-home setup or coverage for a local co-working desk. Employees receive Dune swag.
