What your day-to-day will look like
At EBANX, we don’t just process payments; we break down barriers so global companies can reach growing markets. As a Senior Direct Tax Analyst, you will be a key player in our global tax strategy, ensuring compliance and efficiency in a dynamic, high-scale environment.
What your day-to-day will look like
- End-to-end calculation of direct taxes (IRPJ and CSLL) for Brazil entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance under the “Lucro Real” regime;
- Technical advisory in the review of direct taxes for international operations, acting as a consultative support for the various jurisdictions where EBANX operates;
- Management and delivery of ancillary obligations within the scope (such as ECF and other tax reports), ensuring data integrity and quality;
- Support in the group’s ETR (Effective Tax Rate) consolidation, assisting in variance analysis and global financial reporting;
- Technical support on Transfer Pricing topics, collaborating on data collection, calculations, and supporting the group’s transfer pricing policies;
- Constant collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the tax strategy aligns with the launch of new products and flows.
What you need to shine in this role
- Hands-on Profile: Proactivity to dive deep into operations and build solutions from scratch when necessary;
- Communication and Influence: Ability to translate “tax-speak” for business areas and international partners;
- Analytical and Critical Mindset: Capacity to analyze complex scenarios and propose data-driven improvements;
- Results-Oriented: Commitment to high-quality delivery and agility in a high-growth environment;
- Solid knowledge of Direct Tax Legislation and Accounting Standards (IFRS/CPC);
- Advanced English: Essential for daily interaction with the global team and analysis of foreign legislation.
Bonus points if you have
- Previous experience in Big4 (tax consulting or auditing);
- Experience in the Fintech, Technology, or Payments sector;
- Knowledge of SAP ERP;
- Intermediate/Advanced Spanish (a plus for our LatAm context);
- Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Looker);
- Experience with low-code automation tools (such as Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar platforms) to streamline and scale tax processes.
