We develop advanced biological tools to help scientists make discoveries. We innovate biological assay systems, providing customers with affordable, high-quality data and a better user experience. Our product portfolio includes the AVITI™ benchtop sequencing platform and the AVITI24™ 5D multiomics system. These platforms handle spatial and single-cell multiomics applications and provide high-quality sequencing.

Our systems integrate technologies like Direct In Sample Sequencing (DISS), which simplifies workflows by removing the need for library prep and sample splitting. We also use Avidite Base Chemistry™ (ABC™), which features proprietary avidites for accurate data. The AVITI24 system allows for subcellular spatial co-detection of RNA, protein, and morphology, with 24-hour run times and a 20 cm² imaging area. We also enable faster CRISPR screening using DISS on AVITI24, which combines guide RNA sequencing, protein, and cell morphology in an automated workflow.

In January 2023, we announced the $200 genome with our AVITI™ system. Our technology is used in nearly 30 applications by customers in over 40 countries. Element Biosciences was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA.
