Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and maintain scalable analytical models across device lifecycle, app usage, monetization performance, and customer engagement, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Own KPI frameworks and executive dashboards in Apache Superset, establishing governed metric definitions and a reliable single source of truth
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, AdOps, Sales, Operations, and Engineering to translate complex data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations
- Lead BI initiatives including data quality improvements, pipeline optimization, advanced analyses (cohorting, churn, LTV, auction funnel diagnostics), and mentorship of analysts
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics within media, CTV, streaming, or ad-supported environments
- Expert-level SQL on modern data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, including complex CTEs, window functions, performance tuning, and semi-structured data parsing
- Strong experience building scalable dashboards in BI tools such as Apache Superset, Tableau, Looker, or Mode, with focus on clarity, performance, and reusability
- Deep understanding of monetization metrics including ARPU, CPM/eCPM, RPH, fill-rate, auction funnel stages, and attribution models
- Experience working with high-volume event data, streaming/app lifecycle metrics, retention analysis, cohorting, and longitudinal behavioral models
- Proven ability to design anomaly detection frameworks, KPI monitoring systems, and root-cause investigation workflows
- Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate data into executive-ready narratives and strategic recommendations
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineering on schemas, SLAs, data contracts, rollups, materialized views, and performance optimization
- Program and project leadership mindset with experience prioritizing initiatives, structuring roadmaps, and mentoring analysts
- Nice to have experience with Python or R for analytics, dbt and orchestration tools, ad tech ecosystems, metric layer tools, forecasting methods, and large-scale cloud data performance tuning
- If you’d like, I can also prepare a shorter, more executive-style version for LinkedIn or a more enterprise-facing version for client presentation.
