Job Summary
We’re looking for a QA Engineer to be a key member of a small, skilled, results-oriented product engineering team. We’re building the next generation of our products, and we want someone with as much passion for the work as we have. If you absolutely love working with mobile and web apps and have a solid foundation of software QA skills, you may be the person we’re looking for.You’ll take full ownership of quality within your product area — from planning and documentation through test execution, triage, and release validation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities;
- Work with the QA team in developing a QA testing strategy for the product, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, web service API, GraphQL, functional/performance/load, and so on);
- Define and report on test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness;
- Participate in performance and security testing efforts as needed;
- Create manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts;
- Ability to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely;
- Skilled at analyzing a product for testing.
Essential Skills
- Experience with manual testing;
- Experience testing complex systems such as CMS platforms, SaaS products, or AI-integrated applications;
- Knowledge/experience in Agile development using Scrum or Kanban Methodology.
Highly Desirable Skills
Knowledge/experience in distributed cloud architecture (AWS);
Knowledge/experience in GIT.
Additional Skills
- Experience with any development language such as Python or Node is a plus.
