Job Summary

As a Mid Support Engineer (18424), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate, investigate, and resolve customer-reported issues that cannot be handled at L1 level, performing in-depth technical analysis across the Workbench application and platform.

  • Replicate, validate, and diagnose defects in test environments, contributing directly to bug fixing and the delivery of stable patches using Python, .NET, React, and C#.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and cross-functional teams to deploy sustainable fixes, ensure SLA compliance, document RCAs, and support continuous improvement of system stability and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong experience investigating and resolving complex technical issues within L2 support environments.

  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript (React), and Python, with experience diagnosing and fixing defects in backend and frontend components.

  • Solid understanding of .NET services, REST APIs, microservices, and Kafka implementations.

  • Proficiency in SQL and data validation, including data manipulation using Excel.

  • Hands-on experience with Git for version control and Agile methodologies for structured delivery.

  • Ability to analyze logs, APIs, and system behavior to determine root causes and propose sustainable solutions.

  • Familiarity with API/JSON troubleshooting and integration workflows.

  • Experience collaborating with development and product teams to refine fixes and maintain platform stability.

  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation, RCAs, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.

  • Understanding of best practices such as DDD, TDD, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and basic exposure to Docker, GitHub, or Azure services is beneficial.
