We at Coforge are hiring Mid-Level Java Engineer with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Implement features and bug fixes based on requirements provided by senior engineers and tech leads.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted debugging) to improve coding efficiency and quality.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- Contribute to code reviews and collaborate with team members to improve codebases.
- Maintain and update technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Solid experience in Java (Java 17+ preferred).
- Experience of Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Hibernate / JPA.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and basic exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity containers such as Docker and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, RDS).
- Familiarity with GenAI practices, including prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc).
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
