Job Title:Quality Assurance Tester

We at Coforge are hiring Quality Assurance Testerwith the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.
- Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality.
- Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories.
- Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria.
- Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality.
- Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows.
- Define, create and maintain Test environments.
- Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories.
- Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality.
- Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion.
- Track Bugs through resolution and implementation.
- Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred).
- Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications).
- Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:
- Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring
- Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis
- Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.
- Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.
- ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional).
- Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA).
- Comfortable with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
