Job Summary
As a Senior AirTable Engineer (20187), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, architect, and maintain scalable Airtable solutions and data models to support core business processes such as loan origination, underwriting, and operations
- Develop advanced automations, scripts, and integrations using Airtable Scripting, JavaScript, and external APIs
- Integrate Airtable with third-party systems including CRM, financial platforms, and data tools to enable seamless workflows
- Ensure data governance, system performance, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and reliable solutions
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing complex Airtable architectures in production environments
- Strong expertise in data modeling, relational database design, and scalable workflow architecture
- Proficiency in JavaScript for scripting, automation, and integrations
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools such as Zapier or Make
- Hands-on experience integrating Airtable with external systems such as CRM platforms, financial systems, or document management tools
- Strong understanding of data governance, permissions, and enterprise-level system design
- Experience optimizing system performance and handling high-volume transactional workflows
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in fintech, lending, or financial systems and familiarity with tools like Salesforce is a plus
