Job Summary
As a Senior AWS Program (19842), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead end to end AWS cloud infrastructure deployment and migration programs from discovery through stabilization, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
Govern migration waves including landing zones, applications, and data, coordinating execution across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Manage program delivery plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies while driving structured execution across complex, security controlled environments.
Oversee cross functional teams of migration specialists, architects, and engineers to ensure successful transformation outcomes and operational readiness.
Qualifications and Skills
15+ years of experience in infrastructure, data center support, or cloud program or project management.
At least 6 years leading large scale migrations from on premise environments to AWS, AWS OpenShift, or AWS Outposts.
Proven experience managing full lifecycle cloud migration programs including planning, execution, and stabilization phases.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Control Tower, EC2, VPC, IAM, and Migration Hub.
Solid understanding of VMware environments, data replication, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
Experience managing complex, multi vendor and multi stakeholder environments with strong governance practices.
Ability to build and manage detailed project plans, define milestones, and control risks and dependencies.
Experience working closely with AWS architects, security, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code teams.
Strong change management expertise with the ability to operate effectively in evolving and ambiguous environments.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to engage senior leadership and client stakeholders.
