Job Summary
As a Senior Full Stack Developer - Ruby on Rails, React & Python (19946), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications with a strong focus on backend development using Ruby on Rails
- Build and enhance frontend components using React to deliver seamless user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and high-quality technical solutions
- Drive technical decisions, mentor team members, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software development
- Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and MySQL for backend development
- Experience building frontend applications using React
- Experience working with tools such as Redis, Elasticsearch, and Sidekiq
- Intermediate experience with Python or willingness to learn and work with it
- Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and ability to work independently and in teams
