Job Summary
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and microservices following industry best practices.
Lead code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentoring initiatives to ensure code quality and technical excellence across the engineering team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services, optimize performance, and deliver scalable, cloud-ready solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
Professional/ Advanced English skills.
Strong expertise in Java, object-oriented programming, and modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and building distributed systems or microservice architectures.
Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including deployment, monitoring, and scalability practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of performance tuning, concurrency, and JVM internals.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with collaboration across global or multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders.
