Job Summary
As a Senior .NET & C# Developer (20445), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and distributed system components across multi-platform environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate high-level requirements into robust technical solutions
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and documentation while following best engineering practices
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET technologies
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, or Sybase
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database management systems
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience working with distributed systems and multi-platform environments
- Familiarity with ORM tools such as NHibernate or similar frameworks
- Experience with development tools such as Git, Jenkins, and testing frameworks like NUnit
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and in teams
