Job Summary
As a Senior OpenShift Architect (19844), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design and implement enterprise grade OpenShift architectures to support containerized workloads across hybrid and cloud environments.
Lead platform deployment, configuration, and optimization ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of OpenShift clusters.
Define containerization and orchestration strategies, guiding application modernization and migration into Kubernetes or OpenShift ecosystems.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to automate deployments and ensure integration with CI or CD pipelines and enterprise services.
Qualifications and Skills
Extensive experience designing and managing Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes based platforms in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
Experience deploying and managing OpenShift in hybrid environments including integration with AWS, on premise infrastructure, or cloud native services.
Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Deep understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, ingress, and service mesh within container platforms.
Experience implementing security controls, RBAC, identity integration, and compliance within OpenShift environments.
Familiarity with CI or CD pipelines and DevOps practices supporting containerized application delivery.
Experience supporting migration or modernization initiatives moving workloads to container platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across cluster, application, and infrastructure layers.
Ability to provide architectural governance, technical leadership, and mentorship to engineering teams.
