Job Summary
As a Senior Oracle Transportation Management (19889), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Configure, implement, and optimize Oracle Transportation Management solutions to support logistics and transportation operations
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into OTM configurations, workflows, and system enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integrations between OTM and other enterprise systems
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements to ensure efficient transportation management processes
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience working with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementations or support
- Strong expertise in OTM modules such as Shipment Management, Rate Management, and Business Process Automation
- Hands-on experience configuring OTM tools including Workflow Agents, Integration Manager, and Screen Sets
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Experience working with XML and XSLT for system integrations and data transformations
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management Cloud environments
- Solid understanding of transportation and logistics processes including FTL, LTL, ocean, and air freight
- Experience with multi-leg planning, freight audit processes, and transportation optimization
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills when working with cross-functional teams
