Recruiting professionals for the education sector and managing higher education and STEM partnerships.

About Equal Education Partners

We founded Equal Education Partners in 2011 to focus on two main areas: recruitment services and higher education & STEM partnerships. Our recruitment teams connect professionals with roles throughout the education sector, including teaching, learning support, edtech, leadership, and international positions. We place these roles in schools, colleges, public organizations, and edtech companies. We provide education recruitment solutions and fully funded professional learning opportunities to educators. We recruit for teaching, teaching assistant, and tutoring roles. We also offer an online teaching service, where we recruit qualified teachers to deliver subjects like WJEC Health and Social Care in a virtual classroom using pre-created resources.

Our HE & STEM Partnerships team works with governments and universities to broaden access to higher education and enhance STEM education. This includes managing partnerships with all Welsh universities and programs at global institutions like Yale, MIT, and Oxford.

We are accredited by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), which means we follow best practices for recruitment and child safety. The National Procurement Service (NPS) recruitment framework recommends us to schools in Wales, and the Department for Education (DfE)’s recruitment framework recommends us to schools in England.

Mission & Values

Our principle is “Education, the right way.” We aim to help teachers, tutors, and learners succeed by working in what we call “the right way.” This vision includes an education system that helps children achieve their potential.

Team & Culture

We have 51-200 employees. Our team includes a Chief Executive Officer, Group Executive Director, Managing Director, and Director of Recruitment, along with managers, consultants, and associates. We have specialized roles in recruitment, higher education partnerships, international partnerships, project management, digital, and business & people management. We offer flexible working, including remote options for roles like online teaching and hybrid arrangements for others, such as finance roles, based in Swansea or Cardiff.

Benefits & Perks

We offer competitive pay; for example, online teaching roles pay £24.20 per 45-minute lesson, and a Finance Manager can earn £36,000–£44,000 FTE. We offer remote working for some positions and hybrid models for others, with flexible schedules. We support professional development through training on our platforms and general professional learning assistance. Certain roles, like online teaching, offer scheduling autonomy between 08:30–17:00 and come with pre-created lesson plans. Employees are eligible for an auto-enrollment pension. Our annual leave policy starts at 25 days, increasing to 27 days after two years, and then by one day annually up to a maximum of 30 days after five years of service.
