About Next Shift Learning

We partner with employers to develop and run inclusive learning content and experiences. We offer three main services:

  • Our Emerging Leaders Program develops early-to-mid-career talent, focusing on skills like emotional intelligence, inclusivity, and adaptability. It’s a live, cohort-based experience with content tailored to each client’s needs.

  • With Workforce Upskilling & Mobility, we design and run learning experiences to increase skills for new and existing talent. These programs help with internal promotions, build adaptability, and prepare under-represented candidates to enter the workforce.

  • Our Product Learning service creates interactive product education to boost product growth and adoption. We use learning science and user-centered design to help users become experts, creators, and developers. For example, we built an Augmented Reality curriculum for Snap Inc. to train AR innovators and creators.

Team & Culture

We are a small team of 1-10 employees. Our culture focuses on people’s needs, building products and processes that create access, deliver impact, and lead to lasting change. We see ourselves as an extension of our clients’ teams and their talent’s career paths, helping others unlock their potential to build inclusive teams, innovative products, and great experiences.

Our leadership team includes Co-Founder & CEO Sergio Rosas, Co-Founder & COO Tina Hossain, Head of Strategic Initiatives and Growth Josh Torres, Senior Manager, Learning Experiences Lara Heisser, and Principal, Learning Experiences Rachel Diaz. We also work with a network of external experts in areas like inclusive workforce strategy, human-computer interaction, learning design, augmented reality, and leadership development.

For specific contract roles, you’ll manage the operations and logistics of client programs. This includes leading workflows, handling logistics, ensuring curriculum delivery, and providing mentorship and industry exposure. These roles require proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You might coordinate events, improve learning technology, and maintain documentation. These are temporary, project-based roles, sometimes requiring onsite work during program phases and remote work during planning.
