About the role
A Finance Assistant - Equals Money International at the Equals Group is a forward thinking and imaginative thinker. You must have an excellent attention to detail and are dedicated to ensuring that all things Equals Money International are completed both in a timely and accurate manner.
About you

Requirements
Working closely with the Finance Manager - Equals Money International and Finance Team Lead – Equals Money International, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Separating income from all clients safeguarded accounts each day, in order to avoid commingling of funds. Ensuring that this is either accurate or has a logical approach.
Ensuring that all client fund liabilities (card balances) are safeguarded within the designated safeguarded client accounts at all times, with appropriate reconciliations/rational in place for any timing differences.
Ensuring that all currency reconciliations are completed accurately and all income is disbursed accordingly.
Ensuring that all Mastercard invoices are paid in good time and any unrelated costs to Equals Money International are recharged accordingly.
Assisting the Equals Money International Finance Manager to ensure sufficient capital adequacy is always in place.
Ensuring that the safeguarding ‘Issuing rec’ is completed daily with current exchange rates and any issues with regards to safeguarding are reported straight away.
Assisting the Equals Money International Finance Manager to ensure that the Equals Money International safeguarding policy is always kept up to date.
Keeping up to date with any regulatory changes, FCA and Mastercard.
To work alongside the Finance Manager - Equals Money International, ensuring that Equals Money International Ltd management accounts are completed accurately and in a timely manner each month.
Posting accruals, recharges and any other standard or recurring monthly journals.
Consolidation of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow management.
Variance analysis and reporting.
Asset register maintenance.
To assist the Finance Manager - Equals Money International during external company audits, both Financial and Safeguarding.
To suggest changes and improvements to procedures.
To implement any new processes and improvements to existing processes, in order to ensure that all elements are fully reconciled accurately and efficiently.
To attend training courses and meetings as required.
To undertake any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time by the Equals Money International Finance Manager.
