Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the acquisition of new customers, negotiation of agreements, retention of existing customers, and the development of strategic relationships with both clients and partners from platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and Zalora. Simultaneously, the manager must stay updated on Etaily’s operational capabilities to ensure effective communication with brands.
Job Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Primarily responsible for lead generation and the acquisition of new clients as outlined in the annual business plan.
- Leads all pitch meetings and develops customized proposals based on specific client requests.
- Collaborates with the Finance team to ensure all costing proposals maintain profitability.
- Prepares contracts and works with the Legal department to ensure the correct display of terms.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for public-facing accounts, including the company website and LinkedIn.
- Develops a professional network and builds relationships with marketplace leaders and managers responsible for client referrals.
- Explores incremental business opportunities with new marketplaces, technology providers, and financial institutions.
- Leads negotiations for contract renewals with existing clients.
- Maximizes networking by attending conferences, events, and trade shows to increase brand awareness and expand the potential client network.
- Maintains relationships with past clients by conducting satisfaction surveys twice a year.
- Coordinates with the client onboarding team to turn over new clients and ensure a smooth project start.
Operational Knowledge
- Maintains a deep and current understanding of Etaily’s operational capabilities to properly consult with brands.

Key Qualifications
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, with a preference for those who have closed six-figure ARR opportunities.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and office platforms like Google Suite, sales engagement, and conversation/sales intelligence solutions.
- Company Background: Previous experience working in a high-growth company.
- Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
- Languages: Proficiency in English.
- Certifications: Professional accreditations in Google Suite or Salesforce are preferred (Good to Have).
- Work Setup: This role follows a Hybrid work arrangement.
