Overview of the role:
Euromonitor International is hiring an Associate Consultant for its Bangalore office on a full-time basis.
The Associate Consultant will lead or support bespoke research projects, with significant autonomy in project design and client management, while collaborating closely with in-house industry experts to deliver high-quality client solutions.
The role reports to a Senior Consulting Manager in Bangalore, with day-to-day project reporting to Consultants across regions, primarily MEAI and Europe. The core responsibility of the role is to successfully execute the strategic objectives of custom research projects for clients.
Euromonitor partners with leading industry players across multiple verticals, offering a wide range of custom research solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and critical thinker, with a structured yet creative approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and full ownership of project delivery to ensure high standards and client satisfaction.
What you’ll do
- Plan and execute custom research projects end to end, including project briefs, frameworks, and timelines
- Deliver actionable insights using quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Conduct primary research (industry interviews, consultations) and secondary research using internal and external sources
- Manage analysts and external providers (task allocation, timelines, coordination, payments)
- Ensure high quality and accuracy across all data, analysis, and deliverables
- Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle and present insights confidently
- Develop C-suite–ready presentations and reports using clear storytelling
- Collaborate with regional teams (MEAI, Europe) to align on objectives and timelines
What we’re looking for
- Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 4–6 years’ experience in market research, consulting, or a client-facing role
- Strong experience in custom research, market sizing (top-down & bottom-up), and strategic analysis
- Proven ability to work with multiple data sources, triangulate insights, and build logical estimates
- Experience in consumer or trade sectors; exposure to corporate and/or investment clients
- Self-starter with a curious, commercial mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; Power BI and analytics/AI tools are a plus
