Overview of the role
We are seeking a Software Engineer 2 with experience in building high-quality web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. You will build and maintain applications, working with a team to develop high-performing enterprise systems that help clients make strategic business decisions. Key responsibilities include maintaining coding standards, contributing to project delivery timelines, and participating in estimation discussions.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and enhance .NET-based microservices (Web API) and web applications.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions.
- Write clean, testable code using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, Node.js, Entity Framework, and SQL.
- Ensure quality through TDD, code reviews, and automated testing (MSTest, NUnit, Jasmine).
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, Azure deployments, and post-production maintenance.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Strong skills in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Angular, Node.js, ORM tools, and SQL.
- Experience with testing frameworks and DevOps (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud, OOP principles, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM and BDD practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
