An exciting opportunity awaits you as Social Media Lead in our Marketing team, part of our Commercial department.
As Social Media Lead, you’ll help to build brand love and consideration for Eurostar by ensuring our brand is part of the conversation on social. You’ll help to make Eurostar visible, memorable, and engaging by through content that’s embedded in popular culture and pushes our brand story forward. You’ll also collaborate with our wider teams on integrated campaigns and brand activations that help us achieve our commercial goals.
This permanent position is based in our London Kings Cross office with hybrid working (expectation to be in the office 2 days per week). There will also be travel involved to our offices in Paris and Brussels.

We’re looking for someone to:
- Develop and deliver a social media strategy that help us achieve our business, brand, and stakeholder objectives.
- Lead social media agency management, ensuring effective planning, production, and delivery of content and campaigns timely content delivery
- Work closely with our wider Marketing, PR, HR and other teams to deliver company campaigns and initiatives
- Drive innovation through creative testing, performance analysis, and adoption of emerging social media trends and platforms.
- Support the creation and curation of in house content that adheres to brand guidelines and creative standards.
- Manage local and corporate communications plans, ensuring cohesive customer experiences across all social channels.
- Build and grow online communities, including influencer, advocate, and industry relationships to enhance brand presence and advocacy.
- Provide insights from market research, competitive analysis, and campaign performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Support on budget management and financial administration related to social media activity.
You’ll need…
- Degree level education with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in social media across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) in either in house or agency environments.
- Advanced knowledge of the social media landscape, including tools, and platforms (publishing, administration, analytics, backend systems)
- Deep knowledge and passion for monitoring popular cultural trends, including experience delivering reactive content both hands-on and with influencers
- Proven ability to plan and execute social media strategies, translate strategy into measurable actions, and apply robust measurement frameworks.
- Experience leading and managing agencies and working effectively across multiple geographies and organisational structures.
- Skilled in creative development for social, including content, messaging, and copywriting, with a strong eye for innovation and standout ideas.
- Demonstrated ability to drive stakeholder and employee engagement through corporate social media activity.
- Experience developing and managing influencer marketing programmes, including audience profiling, creative briefing and review, and measurement
- Fluency in both English and French is required for this role.
