Job Purpose

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Management team in London, which is responsible for working in conjunction with the Investment Managers to build and develop trusted relationships with clients, providing wide-ranging support and assistance with the management of client portfolios.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Management: Build and maintain suitable client portfolios, lead client meetings when needed, manage all client interactions professionally, ensure timely and accurate correspondence, and act as a trusted secondary point of contact.

  • Business Development: Clearly articulate the benefits and considerations of the firm’s proposition, assess suitability for prospective clients, and build strong relationships with third parties by providing clear and accurate information.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Prioritise fair client treatment, ensure transparent interactions, and apply relevant regulatory requirements including financial crime, client assets, conflicts of interest, TCF/Conduct Risk, data protection, Consumer Duty, complaints handling, and COBS rules.

  • Continuous Professional Development: Maintain and enhance skills and knowledge through regular CPD, accurately log CPD activity, and contribute to colleague development where appropriate.

  • Risk Management: Understand risks to clients and mitigation measures, and apply the Group’s Conduct Risk Framework to manage risks related to client detriment, market integrity, and operational processes or judgments.

  • Knowledge Management & Administration: Maintain accurate client records, use relevant systems proficiently, follow decision‑making and escalation processes, understand the division’s operating structure, adhere to policies and procedures, and ensure all client data is up to date.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Have the ability to deal with new and existing clients
  • Have the understanding of the financial services industry and investment market
  • Hold experience of working within an investment management environment
  • A strong ethic of client and customer service
  • Have the ability to work well in pressurised environment and prioritise work
  • Hold excellent communication skills
  • Have good numeracy and analytical skills

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • Holds a relevant level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 6) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing
