Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our HR team in London, which is responsible for working closely with the HR team to develop and maintain the HR Policy and employment contract framework, supporting key objectives in the context of the people agenda.
Working in partnership with the HR team and the business, the HR Adviser’s primary responsibility is to provide guidance and manage the process and governance for international mobility within the Group, including Group and employee visa requirements and international secondments.
This is a hybrid working role and will require some travel between Bracknell and London and other offices as required.
As HR Adviser, your responsibilities will include among others:
- To lead and provide guidance and support to the business and HR Team on Group policy, process and procedures relating to global mobility, including visa sponsorship, international secondments and relocation
- To provide oversight and co-ordinate processes with immigration lawyers and both potential and current employees
- To ensure Group compliance with Home Office guidance and ensure that all documentation is maintained and recorded
- To develop and implement processes that support effective policy implementation and governance
- Establish and develop trusted relationships across the business and with the Group’s external networks, at a variety of levels through collaboration and gaining credibility
- To develop and maintain employment contract and agreement templates, providing solutions where required and ensuring best practice in application
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice, employment law and current thinking and developments in HR
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent systems and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, with initiative to identify solutions
- CIPD L5 or equivalent relevant professional qualification
